A Benefit Concert for The Canadian National Music Competion
12 year old Arielle Silverberg & Grand Prize Winner 10 year old Leonid Nediak will delight and inspire with their incredibly talent and musicality.
Tickets are $20.00 each ticket includes a $10 gift certificate from Remenyi House of Music and all proceeds benefit the CMC.
Ten years old Leonid was the 2013 Grand Prize winner of the Canadian Music Competition (CMC) with the highest mark ever given to a competitor in this competition. His performance of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 brought the CMC adjudicators to tears and has resulted in a performance in the 2013 CMC gala in Sherbrooke, Quebec, and numerous performance invitations, including appearances at the Niagara Music Festival, Arts and Letters Club in Toronto, two CMC fundraising concerts in Oakville, and an opening of a concert for the Cecilia String Quartet at Brockville Arts Center.
Arielle Silverberg, 12 years old, has been the winner of the National finals for her age group for 4 years. She has won many scholarships and has taken first place in many local competitions including Kiwanis, NYCO, and York. Arielle was chosen for a performance and interview broadcast on WNED radio. She has performed in master classes with various artists including Maxin Vengerov. Arielle will be performing this April at Koerner Hall at the Royal Occasion Gala in honour of Sir Andrew Davis.
