C. Bechstein Concert 8

The C. Bechstein Concert 8 concert upright piano is the “non plus ultra” – widely considered to be the best full-sized upright in the world. The Concert 8 produces a tone that in power, projection, colour and warmth easily surpasses most mid-sized grand pianos. Recently redesigned with a new acoustic system, the Concert 8 features much the same construction formulas as the current C. Bechstein grand pianos. These result in refined dynamics, more gradations of tone colour and a more nuanced, optimized unfolding of tone. The Concert 8 has been the working tool of many professional musicians such as Sir Simon Rattle, the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel.
