C. Bechstein C 234

The “Model C” is an instrument with a long historical origin. For over a century, it has been the mainstay of recital halls, conservatories, recording and broadcast studios worldwide. The new C234 was re-designed by the master technicians at Bechstein’s Center for Research and Development in dialogue with major artists and acousticians. The “C” is a semi-concert grand knows no compromise in terms of quality and leaves nothing to be desired. It has a huge range of power and subtlety with an almost overwhelming variety of colours and shades, versatility of sound and fantastic touch. It is the smaller brother of the D 282 full concert grand and possesses that same renowned Bechstein transparency of sound and effortless playing qualities that are so important on the concert stage, particularly for the performance of complex compositions. In true German craft tradition, a model “C” takes years to complete.
